The Whole Hand

My boy is going to be the whole hand on Saturday five. He is so excited he has been asking me all week. How many more sleeps til my birthday? He planned out his whole birthday at the park with an Easter egg hunt, cake, and presents. Carson has been the greatest joy for us, he is so good. The whole time he was inside me I knew he was a boy and at the ultrasound the doc said "It's a girl" a couple of times after that I would ask her are you sure it's a girl and she would proceed to pull out the ultrasound pictures and show me Carson's ovaries. When Carson was born with a little extra something the doctor was more surprised than anyone, and I was just thinking now what am I going to do with all these girl clothes. Still today he continues to surprise us with his large vocabulary, and adult like comments. My most favorite comment he made was to my older brother Jeff. If you know Jeff he likes the Denver Broncos, One day he was wearing a Broncos hat and shirt, and he has a tattoo of the broncos on his calf. Carson must have observed all of these bronco heads and he looked up at Jeff and Said "Jeff why do you like Horse Power so much?" Carson could start school this fall, but I am going to wait another year cause he wants to be the oldest in his class. I also want him to have another year tho catch up in size. GREAT things come in small packages and that's my Carson.

Camera's Broke

So what else can break at this point I thought the flood was the grand finally, but it turns out that it wasn't, that dark rain cloud is still over us. (I love your analogy Hannah) My camera has broke once before and I sent it in to be fixed and now it's broke again, it's only two years old! I can't decide to send it in again or just buy a new one. So then I go to cook dinner the other night and my oven wont heat up. I think someone is tryin to kill me off. I guess there would be no good times if we didn't know what rough times were like. I will only be blogging with words for a while so bear with.

Growing Up

Trace was born 4 and 1/2 months ago and I swear it hasn't been that long, but he weighed in at 15 and 1/4 lbs (40%) and 25 1/2 in (50%) yesterday. He has gained 8 lbs and 5.5 inches since he was born. He started watching me everytime I ate so tried giving him some rice cereal and he loves it, he also loves pizza crust. I like to call him my little chubbers. Carson is totally opposite, he is going to be five in a month and weighs 30 lbs. We are so happy to have Trace he is such a great addition to our family. Carson loves him so much he is always concerned for him when he cries and loves to snuggle him first thing in the morning. I've been told since I was little "I remember when you were born, and look at you now all grown up" Well when your small all you want to be is big and when your big you wish you could go back to the stress free life when you were small. So now I'm big and am getting to experience my children growing up. Now I know the feeling of all those old people telling me how big I am getting. Well I love being big and getting these wonderful gifts that are sent from above, and hope there are more to come, maybe in pink?

Mercy!!!

You know when your older brothers just keep pickin on you and wont stop even after you say MERCY! So finally you have to start crying and go to mom to let them know you done and want to be left ALONE. Well that is what I felt like today after going down in my basement to find it in about and inch of water. We had this happen to us one other time about five years ago but the basement wasn't finished and there was nothing down there. So after that time we fixed what was what we thought was the reason it flooded and it hasn't happened again.... until now after its finished. The problem was all the rain last night melted the snow and then there was a thick layer of ice on the east side of our house that doesn't get much sun and when all the water hit that it had no where to go so it just ran to the house then down the foundation in the side of the window buck and eventually into the basement. It's all sucked up and drying out now and Austin is getting supplies to make a draining system. Have you ever heard that saying "When it rains it pours" well I hope this is the end of the storm we've had enough.

Vicki van gogh

My mom and I took a painting class today. It is sooo fun. I had to be talked into taking my first class and now I wish I could take one every month. This is my 5th painting. It was my mom's first time and she did a phenomenal job, those trees are hard.

Mother you are very talented at painting trees! Me.... Not so much.
This is still in the first steps of the picture. Check out her final picture on her blog...

My trees are kinda sad..... Painting is still in the first steps.
